Where we work

We work in a number of countries, at a number of different levels. In Georgia, Montenegro and Bulgaria, for example, our work involves discussing the issue with government officials and developing plans to change their systems of care.

In the Czech Republic and Moldova, we’re more involved. In both countries, we’ve helped the governments to develop plans to replace institutions with quality health, education and social protection services. We’re also involved in pilot projects on the ground, working with social workers, care providers and children in institutions so that we can help to facilitate the end of institutional care – for good.
