Lumos in the news

9 April 2010

Lumos' work was highlighted in the Prague Post this week.

Jacy Mayer, the English language paper's Features Editor, spoke at length to Petra Kacirkova, Lumos' Country Representative in the Czech Republic, to find out more about our work.

The article focused particularly on Pardubice, the county chosen as a pilot for countrywide deinstitutionalisation, which, it it is hoped, will be the standard bearer for the process of moving disadvantaged children out of large residential institutions and into family-type settings which are right for their needs.
